My name is Taylor, and I’m originally from Vancouver but moved to Kamloops back in 2017 for university. Moving was a massive step for me because I have lived in the same house my whole life. Moving away from home was a great maturity for my independence and changed who I am.

I have had the travel bug since I was a child. I was fortunate enough to travel since I was a child, and my parents took me on many trips to Hawaii, Mexico, and America. I got the opportunity at 15 to travel to Nepal and China, and since then, I have backpacked Europe by myself and moved to Australia for a couple of months. Traveling is a big passion of mine and honestly the reason I work and save my money.

Since I have the travel bug, I decided to go into Tourism Management. I have completed my Events and Conventions diploma, and I am now just finishing up my degree. I am excited about what the future holds as I want to work and live abroad.

My passions are traveling, hiking, snorkeling, surfing, and being a huge dog person. This blog is a way for me to share my experiences and talk more about travel, a TOTA experience idea and a case study on Tofino, BC. As mentioned before, I moved to Australia at the beginning of 2020 for a semester abroad. I have attached a clip of my travels before I had to come back due to COVID. I am very thankful for this experience and just wanted to share it with you!
